Swedish/Relaxation Massage

A therapeutic treatment designed to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and reduce stress. This type of bodywork can be experienced in a lighter or stronger style depending on the individual's preference.

Deep Tissue Massage

Combination of Swedish massage and special techniques to affect the deeper layer of muscle. Relieves chronic pain and soreness and releases tension and pain associated with stress. Rebalances your body.

Sports Massage

A form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. Utilizes specific massage techniques to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

Auto Injury Massage

Specialized care for those who have been involved in auto accidents. Our unique program for auto injury massage allows you to receive the wonderful benefit of medical massage in the comfort and convenience of your home. A whiplash injury to the neck, or cervical sprain/strain, is by far the most common injury that results from a car accident. The medical/treatment massage will focus on the specific condition for which massage is indicated as a treatment and the massage will incorporate a variety of massage modalities to best address your particular condition. In addition, hot and cold packs may be used. Sprains and strains are referred to as soft tissue injuries (soft tissue includes muscles, tendons, and ligaments) and occur when the head is abruptly jerked back and forth, muscles and ligaments can be injured. Medical massage is an essential part of the healing process for injuries that result from car accidents.

Reflexology

Reflexology uses firm pressure on specific points in the hands and feet. The hands and feet are where the majority of the nerves of the body are found, thus making massage to these areas highly effective. Reflexology is a powerful antidote to stress.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu incorporates the theory of acupuncture which proposes that energy, known as "Chi" moves through the body along defined passageways called meridians. Creating balance in these energy flows is considered to be essential for health and well-being. Shiatsu utilizes pressure with thumbs, fingers and palms applied to determined areas and points of the body. Shiatsu has been found exceptionally effective for stress-reduction and reducing fatigue.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy uses finger pressure on "trigger points" (painful, irritated areas in the muscle) in order to break the cycle of spasm or pain.

Lymphatic Drainage

Uses light-pressured movements directed towards the heart and lymphatic ducts; directs lymphatic flow throughout the body. It is sometimes used for edema (swelling).

We all agree - time is very important. Please contact us at least 4 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel to avoid paying for the time we have reserved for you. For advanced bookings (special events and corporate on-site bookings), we require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation.
